This weekend we have Kate’s sister Tracy staying with us. It has been fun catching up and nice having great meals cooked for me. Tracy loves to cook and it generally inspires Kate. Lucky me.
Right now they are trying to make homemade peanut butter. We will see how that turns out. Update on Tracy…she is going on another mission trip this summer! Last year she was in Africa and this year she is going to East Asia. We are excited for her.
Kate and I are still traveling the slow road of adoption. We are almost done with our required training and the reference letters are being sent any day. We realize this process could take up to 2 years and are thankful for the patience God has blessed us with.
Tomorrow we plan to go visit our niece Grace in Des Moines. We will post some pictures for sure.

It tastes pretty good but it’s not nearly as smooth as crunchy peanut butter is!
